Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is a mostly indoor theme park on Yas Island, the first park themed on the Ferrari brand. It opened on 4 November 2010 and, according to its operator, has more than 40 rides and attractions, from roller coasters and driving simulators to family rides and shows, all under a climate-controlled roof that keeps the temperature steady all year.
Its best-known ride is Formula Rossa, a launched coaster that accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in about two seconds and reaches 240 km/h in 4.9 seconds. It held the record for the world's fastest roller coaster from its opening until Falcon's Flight opened in Saudi Arabia at the end of 2025. The newest coaster, Mission Ferrari, opened in January 2023.
For cruise passengers it is a half-day outing. The park is about 31 km by road from the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal at Zayed Port, around 35 minutes by taxi, and sits next to Yas Marina Circuit. Buying the ticket online is cheaper than at the gate, and opening hours vary by day, so check them before the call.
