The Island of Djurgården (Vasa Museum, Skansen, and ABBA The Museum) This island is the cultural and entertainment epicenter of Stockholm. Here you will find the Vasa Museum (housing a nearly intact 17th-century warship), the Skansen open-air museum, and the popular ABBA The Museum, all within a 5-minute walk of each other. If you are at Stadsgården, the fastest and most scenic option is to take a small public ferry that crosses directly to the island in just 10 minutes.
