Carnival Cruise Line has announced a series of celebrations to commemorate its 55th anniversary in 2027. The cruise line will orchestrate three ship meetups at sea, involving 11 different sailings across its fleet.
The celebrations will center around three key dates in March 2027, with ships gathering near two exclusive destinations: Celebration Key and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay. The largest gathering will take place on March 13, featuring five ships converging near Celebration Key.
Passengers aboard these special anniversary cruises can expect an enhanced celebratory experience, including birthday-themed specialty cocktails, special birthday cakes, elaborate Lido dessert buffet extravaganzas, and various party games and trivia events.
The anniversary sailings will offer diverse itineraries throughout The Bahamas and Caribbean, with cruise lengths ranging from three to eight days. Notable among the participating vessels is the Carnival Legend, which will uniquely participate in two separate meetup events.
The celebration kicks off on March 9 with a four-ship meetup, followed by a three-ship gathering on March 10, and culminates in the grand finale of five ships on March 13. These special sailings will depart from various U.S. ports, including Miami, Port Canaveral, Tampa, Baltimore, Mobile, Jacksonville, and Galveston, offering passengers multiple options to participate in this historic celebration.
