Disney Cruise Line, a leading name in family cruising, has announced a significant expansion of its fleet. During the D23 Ultimate Fan Event, Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences, revealed that four new ships will join the existing award-winning fleet. These additions, set to be delivered between 2027 and 2031, will bring the total number of Disney Cruise Line ships to 13.
The expansion aims to provide more families around the world with the opportunity to experience Disney’s unique at-sea vacations. Each new ship will feature world-class dining, exceptional entertainment, and the signature hospitality that Disney Cruise Line is renowned for. The names, designs, and itineraries of the new ships are still under development.
This announcement builds on recent exciting developments for Disney Cruise Line, including a new agreement for year-round Disney cruise vacations in Japan starting in early 2029 and the opening of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point in The Bahamas.
The fleet expansion underscores Disney Cruise Line’s commitment to delivering high-quality, family-friendly experiences and solidifies its position as on of the leaders in the cruise industry.
