May 17, 2025

Disney Cruise Line has announced that its themed itineraries, “Marvel Day at Sea” and “Pixar Day at Sea,” will return in 2026, with sailings scheduled to begin in January of that year. A notable new development is that “Marvel Day at Sea” will be offered for the first time from the Port of Galveston, Texas, aboard the Disney Magic.

“Marvel Day at Sea” cruises will take place on select four- and five-night voyages on the Disney Magic from Galveston. During these themed days, passengers can encounter characters from the Marvel universe, such as Spider-Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Thor, Loki, and Black Panther, among others. Scheduled activities include a tribute show to Captain America, warrior training with the character Okoye from “Black Panther,” and the “Avengers Training Initiative” aimed at children. Themed dinners, special merchandise, and a nighttime deck show called “Marvel Heroes Unite,” featuring stunts and special effects, will also be offered. Classic Disney characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse will participate in superhero-inspired attire.

Meanwhile, “Pixar Day at Sea” will take place on the Disney Fantasy, on select five-night cruises departing from Port Canaveral, Florida. This event will allow passengers to interact with characters from various Pixar films, including “Toy Story,” “Monsters, Inc.,” “The Incredibles,” “Inside Out,” and “Coco.” The activity lineup includes the “Hey Howdy Breakfast” themed breakfast, the “Crush’s Totally Awesome Pool Party,” the “Edna Mode’s Style on Parade,” the “Anyone Can Cook” cooking demonstration based on the movie “Ratatouille,” and the “Pixar Pals Celebration” deck party.

Disney Cruise Line has indicated that more information about these 2026 themed cruises can be found on its official website.
