Holland America Line has officially opened bookings for its 2026-2027 Panama Canal and Hawaii cruise seasons, offering travelers a diverse range of itineraries that showcase both natural wonders and engineering marvels. The new cruise offerings will span 14 to 28 days and operate across six ships departing from five North American homeports.
For those interested in experiencing the Panama Canal, Holland America Line presents twelve voyages ranging from 14 to 21 days aboard Eurodam, Nieuw Amsterdam, and Zuiderdam. These cruises will depart from or arrive at Vancouver, Seattle, San Diego, Miami, or Fort Lauderdale. Paul Grigsby, vice president of deployment, revenue planning and analytics for the cruise line, emphasized the bucket-list appeal of the Panama Canal, describing it as “one of the engineering wonders of the modern world”.
A highlight among the Panama Canal options is a 21-day sailing from Vancouver to Fort Lauderdale on Nieuw Amsterdam, featuring visits to 11 ports across eight countries and opportunities to explore UNESCO World Heritage sites, including El Salvador’s Joya de Ceren Archaeological site. Select Panama Canal itineraries will also include Acapulco, Mexico – a destination Holland America Line is returning to after nearly 15 years.
The Hawaii cruise season offers six itineraries ranging from 17 to 28 days aboard Koningsdam, Noordam, and Zaandam, with departures from Vancouver, Seattle, or San Diego. These cruises will feature immersive Hawaiian cultural experiences, including talks and performances from cultural ambassadors and hands-on activities like hula dancing and ukulele lessons.
For travelers seeking a unique holiday experience, Holland America Line will offer an 18-Day Circle Hawaii Holiday cruise aboard Zaandam departing San Diego on November 19. Passengers will arrive in Honolulu on Thanksgiving Day, enjoying an overnight stay before continuing to Hilo. “Sailing with Holland America for the holidays provides a delightful and stress-free way to celebrate,” noted Michael Stendebach, vice president of food, beverage, and room division.
Adventure-seekers can opt for a combined Alaska and Hawaii experience with the 27- or 28-Day Legendary Glaciers & Volcanoes voyage aboard Noordam. Departing in September 2026, this unique “fire and ice” journey includes visits to ports in Alaska and British Columbia before heading to Hawaii.
Travelers booking these cruises with Holland America Line’s Have It All premium package will receive shore excursions, specialty dining, a Signature Beverage Package, and Surf Wi-Fi, along with free prepaid crew appreciation and upgrades to Elite Beverage Package and Premium Wi-Fi. Mariner Society loyalty members can receive up to $400 onboard credit per stateroom when booking within 90 days of launch.
Fares for the 2026-2027 Hawaii cruises start at $3,029, while Panama Canal cruises begin at $3,449 per person, double occupancy, with taxes, fees, and port fees included.
