MSC Cruises Reveals Entertainment Spaces for the Upcoming MSC World Asia

August 4, 2025

MSC Cruises has revealed details of the new and redesigned entertainment spaces that will be found aboard its upcoming flagship, MSC World Asia. The ship is scheduled to launch in December 2026 and will operate from Barcelona with seven-night Mediterranean itineraries. Its interior and exterior design will feature elements reflecting the culture of Asia.

Among the main new features is “The Clubhouse,” a multi-functional area designed for families that will include board games, a LEGO® zone, bumper cars, basketball, and roller skating. Alongside this, a redesigned “Luna Park” will be featured, a two-deck space with LED screens for contests and themed parties, which will transform into a nightlife area with DJ sessions at night.

Another space with a new design will be “The Harbour,” an outdoor park with Asian-inspired theming. It will house the “Cliffhanger” attraction, a swing that rises more than 50 meters above the sea, making it the only ship in Europe with this feature. It will also include “The Spiral,” a dry slide 81.3 meters long, which will start from a pagoda-shaped structure. The area is completed with a ropes course, water slides, and a playground.

The entertainment offering is complemented by other spaces such as the main “World Theatre” for production shows, the “Panorama Lounge” with live music and sea views, and the outdoor “World Promenade,” the center of life on board with events like parades and light shows.

MSC World Asia’s itinerary for winter 2026/27 will include calls in Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia (for Rome), Messina, and Valletta. In the summer of 2027, the route will be similar, replacing the port of Genoa with Naples.
