Royal Caribbean Unveils Eurovision-Themed Cruises for 2025

October 24, 2024

Royal Caribbean is set to make waves in the cruise industry with its latest announcement of Eurovision Song Contest-themed holidays for 2025. Following the success of their debut Eurovision-themed cruises, the company is offering fans two exclusive experiences to celebrate Europe’s biggest music event while exploring top destinations.

The themed cruises will take place on two ships:

  • Allure of the Seas: A 7-night Western Mediterranean cruise departing from Barcelona on May 11, 2025, or Civitavecchia on May 15, 2025. This cruise will feature the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final Viewing Party.
  • Independence of the Seas: A 3-night throwback getaway departing from Southampton on June 18, 2025, visiting Bruges, Belgium.

Both cruises promise a lineup of special experiences that bring the spirit of Eurovision to life, including themed parties, karaoke nights, quizzes, a gala dinner, and even live performances by surprise acts.

Gerard Nolan, vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa for Royal Caribbean International, stated, “Royal Caribbean’s Eurovision Song Contest adventures will be even more memorable next summer with special experiences, from themed parties to dance the night away to added Eurovision twists at karaoke.”

To celebrate the launch, Royal Caribbean is offering a chance to win a trip on the 3-night themed getaway, $600 in onboard spending money, and two tickets to the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final in Basel, Switzerland, in May 2025. The giveaway starts on Monday, October 21, at 10 a.m. BST on Royal Caribbean Europe’s Instagram.

These Eurovision-themed cruises are now open for booking on Royal Caribbean’s website.
