The Carnival Festivale, set to debut in spring 2027 from Port Canaveral, Florida, is Carnival Cruise Line’s fourth Excel-class ship. This innovative vessel will feature extensive family-focused amenities, including 1,000 interconnecting rooms (70% more than previous Excel ships) and a revolutionary entertainment area called Sunsation Point spanning the top three decks. A standout feature is the Carnival Waterworks Ultra, promoted as the most family-friendly water park at sea, complete with six slides, multiple splash pads, and unique nighttime operations. The ship will also include specialized zones for entertainment, including two music-themed areas on Decks 6, 7, and 8, and a dedicated space for the Turtles program catering to children aged six months to two years.
