MSC Cruises has announced a partnership with Apple Original Films, producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and director Joseph Kosinski for the highly anticipated Formula 1 movie titled “F1.” The film, set to star Brad Pitt as a former driver returning to the sport, will be released in theatres and IMAX by Warner Bros. Pictures in North America on June 27, 2025, and internationally beginning June 25, 2025.
MSC Cruises’ logo will be prominently featured in the movie, appearing on the fictional APXGP car, team kit, and race tracks. The film’s cast includes Damson Idris as Pitt’s teammate, with Academy Award nominee Kerry Condon, Academy Award winner Javier Bardem, Emmy Award winner Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, and Samson Kayo also starring.
This collaboration highlights MSC Cruises’ ongoing multi-year partnership with Formula 1, which runs through the end of the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The partnership underscores both organizations’ commitment to excellence, sustainability, and global entertainment.
