Princess Cruises is marking its diamond anniversary with a spectacular 14-day Mexican Riviera voyage departing from Los Angeles on December 6, 2025. The celebratory cruise aboard Royal Princess will retrace the company’s first voyage from 1965, paying homage to six decades of creating memorable vacation experiences.
The anniversary sailing will feature special entertainment, including a performance by the legendary Motown group The Temptations, known for their hit “My Girl.” The celebration carries extra significance as it coincides with the 60th anniversary of their iconic song.
Jill Whelan, Princess Cruises Celebrations Ambassador and former “Love Boat” actress, will host the anniversary cruise, adding a nostalgic touch to the festivities.
The itinerary includes overnight stays in Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta, with additional stops in Loreto, Manzanilla, and Mazatlán. Passengers will have the opportunity to experience the Mexican Riviera while being part of this historic milestone.
Princess Cruises has grown significantly since its humble beginnings, now operating a fleet of 16 ships worldwide. The cruise line is set for further expansion with the introduction of the Star Princess in October 2025.
