Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced a significant expansion of its immersion itineraries in Europe for the spring/summer season of 2026. This initiative aims to offer travelers deeper and more enriching experiences in European destinations.

Among the highlights of this expansion are:

  • More seven-day cruises around Europe with few or no sea days, allowing passengers to fully immerse themselves in each destination.
  • A total of 22 overnight stays in European ports, providing the opportunity to enjoy local nightlife and cuisine.
  • 11 unique embarkation ports in 10 different European countries, including Helsinki as a new home port for NCL.
  • New stops in destinations such as Portree (Scotland), Leirvik (Stord, Norway) and Palamós (Spain).

NCL describes its immersion itineraries as a unique experience that allows passengers to fully immerse themselves in the destinations they visit. These itineraries are characterized by offering longer stays in ports, including late departures and overnight stays, giving travelers the opportunity to explore each destination in depth.

With these extended visits, passengers can enjoy local nightlife, participate in longer excursions, experience regional cuisine at its finest, and immerse themselves in the local culture in a more authentic way.
