MSC Cruises has announced that its upcoming flagship, MSC World Asia, will feature the largest selection of MSC Yacht Club suites in the entire fleet. The ship will begin operating in the Mediterranean from December 4, 2026, introducing innovations in accommodation and onboard experiences for those seeking a comprehensive luxury cruise.

The Royal Duplex Suite: a new benchmark in family suites

Among the highlights is the Royal Duplex Suite, a two-story, 53 m² accommodation with two bedrooms and an 11 m² private balcony featuring a hot tub. This suite can accommodate up to six guests, making it an ideal option for families or groups. Additionally, it features a spacious living room, suitable for entertainment and gatherings.

The largest Yacht Club in the fleet

The MSC Yacht Club on MSC World Asia spans over 9,900 m², with a private sundeck spread across two levels, luxury furnishings, a pool, and a grill area for outdoor dining. There will be 144 suites distributed across seven categories, catering to various types of guests.

The Yacht Club concept functions as a “ship within a ship,” providing access to exclusive areas such as a lounge, restaurant, butler service, and 24-hour concierge. Guests will also enjoy a premium beverage package, unlimited Wi-Fi, priority boarding and disembarkation, access to the Aurea Spa thermal area, and exclusive excursions.

According to Cristian Comirla, Senior Director of Yacht Club & Hotel Services, the onboard experience will exceed expectations, maintaining Yacht Club standards while adding new accommodation options such as the Royal Duplex Suite.

Design and Asian-inspired itineraries

MSC World Asia is the third ship in the World Class series, and its design will reflect the cultural, artistic, and scenic richness of Asia. It will offer seven themed districts onboard, each with distinct atmospheres and services.

During the 2026/27 winter season, the ship will offer seven-night itineraries with stops in Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia (for Rome), Messina, and Valletta. In summer 2027, Naples will be added among its featured destinations.
