October 14, 2026

Princess Cruises has opened bookings for its 2028-2029 season in the Americas, with more than 250 departures between Canada and Antarctica. The cruise line announced the programme on 13 October 2026. The main new feature is the return to the Amazon River, which Princess has not sailed since 2014. Voyages range from 4-day trips along the West Coast of the United States to a new 64-day voyage around South America.

The Amazon and a 64-day voyage around South America

The South American season will have 13 departures on 11 itineraries aboard Majestic Princess and Coral Princess, with 38 destinations in 16 countries. It includes 17-day Antarctica and Patagonia voyages, 15-day cruises to Cape Horn and the glaciers of Patagonia, and the return to the Amazon River, with scenic cruising on the river and a call at Santarém, in Brazil. On the map published with the announcement, the Amazon section also has an overnight stay in Manaus, and the departure ports are Fort Lauderdale, Buenos Aires and Santiago (San Antonio).

The new 64-day Circle South America voyage, aboard Coral Princess, sails around the continent and combines Antarctica, the Amazon River and a transit through the original locks of the Panama Canal.

Passengers on the South American voyages can add a Princess Cruisetour inland, to Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley in Peru or to the Iguazú Falls, seen from both the Brazilian and the Argentine side.
