MSC World Asia: Panorama Lounge

MSC Cruises has announced the entertainment programme for MSC World Asia, the third ship in its World Class, which begins sailing in the Mediterranean on 4 December 2026. The ship will offer six production shows in two venues, the World Theatre and the Panorama Lounge. Four of them are new: three in the World Theatre and one in the Panorama Lounge.

According to the cruise line, MSC World Asia will have 13 new or redesigned experiences and spaces compared with MSC World Europa, the first ship in the class. Entertainment will also take place in the MSC Luna Park Arena, The Harbour and a new venue called the Clubhouse.

World Theatre

  • La NoTte (new), produced with the creative company Only Child, is set in a residence “frozen in time” and combines music, dance and cinematic effects.
  • Sensoria (new), produced by the company tbi “The Big Idea”, is built around the five senses, with music, movement and circus acts.
  • Ritmo Divino (new), produced with 2 Creative Entertainment, combines flamenco with a modern take on Spanish folklore and tells the story of a flamenco dancer and a matador.
  • Hall of Fame, a live concert inspired by music award shows, will be performed in the Mediterranean for the first time.

Panorama Lounge

  • Sunset Symphonic (new) reworks pop and dance hits with a recorded orchestra, live singers and musicians, choreography and aerial acts.
  • Queen Symphonic, which MSC describes as a favourite among its guests, is a tribute to Queen with a filmed 36-piece orchestra, a live rock band, singers, dancers and acrobats.

Live music

MSC Cruises says that 33 musicians will perform every day in different areas of the ship, from strolling musicians and solo artists to bands and its duelling pianos format. Steve Leatham, the company’s Vice President of Entertainment, said the ship will combine new and returning productions with a live music programme, activities and games throughout the day.

The new shows were developed by MSC Creative Studios, the entertainment development and training centre that the company recently opened in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Itinerary

From 4 December 2026, MSC World Asia will sail 7-night cruises in the Western Mediterranean, calling at Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia (for Rome), Messina and Valletta.
