MSC Cruises has announced that it will be the title sponsor of three Formula 1 Grands Prix in the 2027 season, marking the second consecutive year the cruise line has held this role. The agreement is part of a broader partnership between MSC and Formula 1 that runs through 2030.

The Three Races

• The Formula 1 MSC Cruises Portuguese Grand Prix will take place from June 18-20 at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, a circuit known for its elevation changes.
• The Formula 1 MSC Cruises Belgian Grand Prix will run from July 23-25 at Spa-Francorchamps, a 7-kilometer circuit in the Belgian Ardennes.
• The Formula 1 MSC Cruises Turkish Grand Prix will take place from October 1-3 at Istanbul Park, marking Formula 1’s return to Turkey for the first time since 2005 under a five-year agreement.

In addition to the naming rights, MSC Cruises and its sister brand Explora Journeys will have branding and hospitality activations at circuits throughout the 2027 season. According to the announcement, the deal is intended to increase the visibility of both brands among an international audience that follows Formula 1.

MSC Cruises has said the partnership reflects shared values between the cruise line and Formula 1, including teamwork, precision and innovation.
