Celebrity Cruises presents its most ambitious entertainment project with the upcoming launch of Celebrity Xcel, scheduled for November. This vessel will mark a turning point in the fleet by integrating the largest number of shows, activities, and participatory experiences, developed for audiences of all ages and tastes.
Innovative theatrical experiences
At the heart of the offering, the main theater will premiere three original productions developed by internationally renowned artists and top-tier creative teams.
- Mainstage: a live concert that journeys through the most iconic music festivals, bringing together genres and eras, inviting passengers to sing and dance.
- Between Takes: set in 1920s Hollywood, this show combines behind-the-scenes moments, acrobatics, and choreography on dynamic stages.
- Chapters: a production that explores themes of nature and transformation, inviting the audience to reflect through scenic narrative and state-of-the-art visual resources.
Participatory shows and social dynamics
The Club area features interactive shows such as 254 West, which transports passengers to an 80s nightclub, and HOTEL, a whodunit-style musical comedy where mystery and audience interaction take center stage.
Musical settings and themed parties
The offering includes a variety of atmospheres and styles:
- Piano bar with classic and contemporary repertoires
- Country party Saddle Up Saloon
- Classic rock tribute concerts in candlelight evening format
- Mediterranean music at the Bora venue, alternating styles according to the time of day
- Evening party Shine the Night under the stars
Games and activities for all ages
Celebrity Xcel will offer experiences such as the mass competition High Stakes, the strategic game Brain Spin, escape room-style challenges, destination-themed puzzles, and a renovated interactive arcade area. Children will also have access to an interactive digital wall designed for their activities program.
The entertainment programming was conceived with the active participation of future guests through the Xcel Dream Makers program.
Itineraries and destinations
Starting in November, Celebrity Xcel will operate seven-night itineraries throughout the Caribbean and ports including the Bahamas, Mexico, Cayman Islands, and Puerto Plata. Its inaugural European season is planned for summer 2026, departing from Barcelona and Athens, with seven to eleven-night options and innovative overnight stays in Madeira.
