Following a two-week drydock in Palermo, Italy, the Majestic Princess has emerged with an impressive array of new venues and reimagined spaces, preparing for its upcoming 2025 Mediterranean season.
The extensive renovation introduces several popular dining and entertainment venues to enhance the guest experience. Notable additions include O’Malley’s Irish Pub, Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria, Alfredo’s Slice, Salty Dog Café, Ocean Terrace Sushi Bar, and Bellini’s, along with rebranded shopping venues.
Lorna Warren, Princess Cruises Vice President Hotel Operations and Guest Experience, expressed enthusiasm about the transformation, noting that it coincides with the cruise line’s 40th anniversary of Mediterranean operations.
The renovation has brought significant changes across multiple decks. On Deck 5, the former Harmony Restaurant has been transformed into Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria, offering authentic Tuscan cuisine featuring handmade pasta and slow-braised meats. The Good Spirits At Sea bar, replacing the Piazza Bar, now offers expert mixologists delivering live demonstrations of hand-crafted cocktails.
Deck 6 welcomes the new Bellini’s Cocktail Bar, featuring Italian-inspired beverages and a carefully curated wine selection. On Deck 7, the Ocean Terrace Sushi Bar provides guests with expertly crafted sushi rolls, fresh nigiri, and sashimi while overlooking the Piazza.
The poolside area on Deck 16 has also received significant updates, with Alfredo’s Slice now offering authentic Neapolitan pizzas made to order, while The Salty Dog Grill serves up premium burgers, hot dogs, street tacos, and loaded fries.
The 3,560-guest vessel continues to offer the signature Princess MedallionClass experience, providing personalized service and enhanced amenities. Guests can take advantage of inclusive packages like Princess Plus and Princess Premier, which offer additional benefits such as Wi-Fi, beverages, desserts, and fitness classes.
Following its Mediterranean season from April to July 2025, the Majestic Princess will sail to Canada and New England from August to September, before concluding the year with Caribbean cruises from October to December.
