MSC Cruises has announced that its exclusive MSC Yacht Club concept will debut on world cruises with the refurbished MSC Magnifica in the 2027 edition of its World Cruise. This will be the first time the cruise line offers its premium “ship within a ship” experience on an around-the-world itinerary.
The 121-night journey will cross 25 countries, allowing passengers to explore 45 destinations in Europe, Africa, South America, Oceania, and North America without having to pack and unpack their suitcases. Guests can embark from four European ports: Civitavecchia (Rome), Genoa, Marseille, and Barcelona, between January 4-7, 2027.
The MSC Yacht Club will occupy five upper decks of the ship and will include 63 suites across five different categories to accommodate all types of travelers. Guests who choose this experience will enjoy exclusive keycard access to private facilities, 24-hour butler and concierge service, plus an exclusive restaurant, lounge, pool, and sundeck.
As part of its renovation, the MSC Magnifica will incorporate two new specialty restaurants: Butcher’s Cut, a steakhouse offering premium cuts of meat in an elegant setting, and Kaito Sushi Bar, with dishes inspired by authentic Asian cuisine.
The ship will also feature a renovated MSC Aurea Spa spanning more than 270 square meters, which will include a sauna with panoramic sea views, two steam rooms, a salt room, a Kneipp path, and 10 treatment rooms. For fitness enthusiasts, the cruise will offer an updated Technogym center with indoor workout areas and dedicated yoga and spinning studios, all with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows.
Among the most notable destinations on the itinerary are Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Buenos Aires and Ushuaia (Argentina), Valparaíso (Chile), Papeete (Tahiti), Hobart and Sydney (Australia), and Honolulu (Hawaii), including special journeys such as passing through the Panama Canal and several overnight stays in iconic ports.
This World Cruise 2027 represents a new commitment from MSC Cruises to the luxury segment for long-duration journeys, combining the exclusivity of MSC Yacht Club with the experience of a cruise around the world.
