MSC Cruises has announced an ambitious expansion of its U.S. operations for the Winter 2026-2027 season, with seven ships operating from four strategic homeports across the country.
The cruise line’s deployment includes the new flagship MSC World America, which will offer 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Miami. The Eastern Caribbean voyages will visit Puerto Plata, San Juan, and Ocean Cay, while Western Caribbean routes will include stops at Isla de Roatan, Costa Maya, Cozumel, and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.
In a significant development, MSC Poesia will debut a unique 20-night Panama Canal journey from Seattle to Miami, departing September 28, 2026. This specialized sailing will visit key ports including Los Angeles, San Diego, Cabo San Lucas, Puntarenas, and Cartagena.
The season will feature two notable MSC Grand Voyages: MSC Meraviglia’s 19-night journey from Barcelona to New York City departing October 20, 2026, and MSC Grandiosa’s 14-night voyage from Barcelona to Port Canaveral on October 31, 2026.
Lynn Torrent, EVP & Chief Commercial Officer of MSC Cruises USA, emphasized the company’s strengthening commitment to the U.S. market, noting that the deployment of their newest and largest ships across multiple homeports offers travelers more options to experience their unique blend of European style and American comfort.
The expansion includes diverse itinerary options ranging from short Bahamas getaways to extended Caribbean voyages, with most cruises featuring stops at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the company’s private island in The Bahamas. Ships will operate from Miami, Port Canaveral, New York City, and Galveston, providing unprecedented access to MSC’s cruise experiences for U.S. travelers.
