Roberto Cabello Rey (Bus. Dev. Manager Spain ME & EE Oceania Cruises) presented last week at FITUR the main characteristics of Oceania Cruises. During his 20-minute talk, he outlined the distinctive elements that position the company as an ultra-premium cruise line. For those unfamiliar with Oceania Cruises, this article summarizes the highlights of his presentation at Madrid’s tourism fair.

Oceania Cruises, recognized as a leader in the ultra-premium cruise sector, stands out for offering an experience that approaches the luxury segment, significantly differentiating itself from standard cruises.

The cruise line, which has a fleet of 8 ships with capacity between 650 and 1,250 passengers, distinguishes itself through its exceptional culinary offerings under the inspiration of renowned chef Jacques Pépin. A unique feature is its ratio of one chef for every 10 passengers, allowing them to maintain the highest culinary standards.

Guests can enjoy an extensive variety of specialty restaurants, all included in the cruise price, offering unique dining experiences for each night of the journey. Below, we detail the different establishments:

  • Grand Dining Room – The main restaurant offers a refined selection of international cuisine, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner in an elegant atmosphere.
  • Toscana – Authentic high-end Italian cuisine, where native chefs prepare traditional recipes inherited from their families, offering the true essence of Italian cooking.
  • Red Ginger – A journey through contemporary Asian cuisine, featuring a new Japanese-Peruvian fusion proposal created by their specialized chef.
  • Jacques – The flagship restaurant of chef Jacques Pépin presents the finest French cuisine with dishes exclusively designed for Oceania Cruises.
  • Polo Grill – Specialized in the finest premium meats and seafood, including select products such as Basque ribeye steak.
  • Aquamar Kitchen – The newest restaurant, focused on healthy and balanced cuisine, perfect for wellness enthusiasts.
  • Terrace Café – Offers breakfast and dinner in a more casual atmosphere while maintaining high quality.
  • Ember – Dedicated to authentic American cuisine with a contemporary twist.
  • La Reserve – Unique wine pairing experience with select French wines.
  • Privée – Exclusive space for private dinners and special celebrations.
  • Bakery & Baristas Bar – The perfect place to enjoy premium coffees and freshly baked pastries.

Included amenities feature non-alcoholic beverages, unlimited WiFi for two passengers, spa services, laundry, city center transfers, and gratuities. The staterooms stand out for their dimensions, being the most spacious in the market, with the smallest balcony cabin on the newest ship measuring 29m².

The company also distinguishes itself through its unique itineraries, with more than 600 routes that include unconventional destinations. Their smaller ships can access exclusive ports, including river navigation to cities such as Seville.
