Princess Cruises has announced an ambitious Southeast Asia cruise program for the 2026-2027 season, offering travelers comprehensive exploration opportunities across multiple countries in the region. The program will be operated by the Diamond Princess, sailing from its homeport in Singapore to 28 destinations across eight countries through 11 different sailings from November 2026 to March 2027.
The cruise line’s Chief Commercial Officer, Terry Thornton, emphasized the program’s focus on providing access to some of the world’s most sought-after destinations, with itineraries designed to accommodate various types of travelers.
The program features several notable highlights, including 10- to 16-day roundtrip voyages from Singapore that visit Vietnam and Malaysia. A special holiday sailing over Christmas and New Year’s offers a 14-day itinerary encompassing Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, with stops in major ports such as Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh City, and Bangkok.
Longer itineraries include 16- and 24-day voyages that feature visits to UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Ha Long Bay in Vietnam, along with stops in Phuket and Da Nang/Hue. The program also offers extended journeys between Singapore and Japan, ranging from 14 to 31 days, with visits to Taiwan and Hong Kong.
The Diamond Princess itself enhances the Asian experience, featuring specialized amenities including the Kai Sushi restaurant, Japanese-inspired cocktails, and a traditional Izumi bath. Passengers can also enjoy regional entertainment and holiday celebrations, alongside Princess’s signature offerings such as Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria and Movies Under the Stars.
To maximize value, guests can opt for Princess Plus and Princess Premier inclusive packages, which bundle amenities like Wi-Fi, beverages, desserts, fitness classes, and crew appreciation, offering up to 65% savings compared to purchasing these amenities separately.
