Royal Caribbean International is gearing up for a significant transformation of Allure of the Seas, slated to debut in April 2025. The cruise line has announced a $100 million enhancement that will introduce more than 35 dining and drinking options, resort-style pools, waterslides, and a variety of new thrills and relaxation spots.

The revamped ship will offer 7-night Western Mediterranean vacations from Barcelona, Spain, with stops in destinations such as Provence (Marseille), Florence/Pisa (La Spezia), Rome, and Palma de Mallorca. Highlights include the Pesky Parrot tiki bar, Cyclone and Typhoon racing waterslides, and the adrenaline-pumping 10-story Ultimate Abyss slide.

In addition to these new features, Allure of the Seas will have specialized areas for tots, tweens, and teens, as well as adults-only retreats. Culinary offerings will expand with venues like the Southern-inspired Mason Jar Southern Restaurant & Bar and the sports-centric Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade.

The ship will also feature new Ultimate Panoramic Suites, providing 200-degree ocean views. The renovations are part of Royal Caribbean’s Royal Amplified program, aimed at enhancing the cruise experience across their fleet.

Starting in November 2025, Allure of the Seas will shift to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, offering 6- to 8-night trips to the Eastern Caribbean and The Bahamas, including stops at the award-winning Perfect Day at CocoCay and the new Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau.
